General Directorate of Agricultural, Fisheries, and Water Resources in Dhofar Province Urges Livestock Breeders, Fishermen, and Beekeepers to Take Necessary Precautions

In light of the potential impact of the tropical condition in the Arabian Sea, the General Directorate of Agricultural, Fisheries, and Water Resources in Dhofar Province is calling upon livestock breeders, fishermen, and beekeepers to prioritize their safety and safeguard their assets.

Dhofar Province, located in the Sultanate of Oman, is renowned for its agricultural and fishing activities, with many individuals relying on these sectors for their livelihoods. The arrival of a tropical condition in the Arabian Sea has raised concerns about potential hazards to both human lives and property.

To ensure the well-being of the local community and the protection of their valuable assets, the General Directorate is emphasizing the need for preparedness and safety measures. Livestock breeders are advised to take measures to secure their animals, including providing shelter and necessary provisions to weather the impending tropical conditions. Fishermen are urged to exercise caution and avoid venturing out into the sea during adverse weather conditions, prioritizing their safety above all else.

Beekeepers, too, are encouraged to safeguard their beehives and equipment, as adverse weather can have a detrimental impact on their bee colonies. The General Directorate recommends securing beehives and relocating them to more sheltered areas if necessary.

This call to action from the General Directorate of Agricultural, Fisheries, and Water Resources underscores the importance of community safety and the preservation of vital resources in the face of potential natural disasters. By heeding these precautions and acting in a responsible manner, the local community can better protect themselves and their livelihoods from the uncertainties associated with tropical conditions in the Arabian Sea.
