Foreign Minister Meets Members of GCC Supreme Council Advisory Board
Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, had the privilege of hosting a meeting with the distinguished members of the Advisory Board of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Supreme Council.
Representing Bahrain on the board were Dr. Shaikha Mariam bint Hassan Al Khalifa, Ali Abdullah Al Aradi, Ahmed Sabah Al Suloom, Hassan Eid Bukhamas, and Sabeeka Khalifa Al Fudhala.
During the gathering, the minister extended his warm congratulations to Bahrain’s representatives for their appointment to the Advisory Board, commending their exceptional competence and diverse experiences that make them well-suited for the responsibilities entrusted to the Board.
He also lauded the pivotal role played by the Advisory Board in advancing collaborative initiatives within the GCC and underscored the significance of the specialized studies it has conducted.
Minister Al Zayani conveyed his best wishes for the success of the representatives in their new roles.
The representatives from Bahrain expressed their deep gratitude for the royal trust placed in them and pledged their unwavering commitment to enhancing the Advisory Board’s contributions towards fostering cooperation within the GCC.
This significant meeting was attended by Ambassador Dr. Mohammad Ali Behzad, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Consular and Administrative Affairs, Ambassador Talal Abdulsalam Al Ansari, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ambassador Abdulaziz Mohammad Al Eid, Chief of Gulf Cooperation Council Affairs.
