HM King Arrives in Saudi Arabia
Today, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has arrived in Saudi Arabia to lead the Bahraini delegation at the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit.
Upon his arrival, His Majesty the King conveyed his gratitude to His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, for the invitation to partake in this summit.
His Majesty expressed his admiration for the enduring historical relations between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the commitment to bolster bilateral cooperation in all sectors.
HM King Hamad extended his congratulations to Saudi Arabia for hosting such a significant summit.
He commended the longstanding GCC-ASEAN relations, underscoring the potential and capabilities that both blocs possess, which can be harnessed to expand collaborative efforts. This collaboration has the potential to result in a comprehensive economic partnership that serves mutual interests, promoting peace, stability, development, and prosperity for their respective populations.
His Majesty King Hamad expressed his appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, the Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their endeavors in strengthening international cooperation to ensure security and stability in the region.
The King expressed his hope that this summit would lead to fruitful cooperation with ASEAN countries and further fortify the bonds between the two regions.
