HRH The Deputy King Meets with U.S. Senator and Congressional Delegation
Today, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Deputy King, had a meeting with U.S. Senator Cory Booker and a delegation comprising members of the United States Congress at Riffa Palace.
During the meeting, His Royal Highness emphasized the robust nature of the bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America. He underscored Bahrain’s unwavering commitment to further strengthening its relations with the United States on all fronts.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted the significance of bilateral visits and the signing of agreements and Memoranda of Understanding, such as the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA), which have contributed to the advancement of Bahrain-U.S. relations, aligned with their shared aspirations.
The Deputy King stressed both nations’ mutual dedication to exploring new opportunities, fostering cooperation, and cultivating strategic partnerships for the benefit of all parties involved.
His Royal Highness commended the pivotal role of the United States, in collaboration with allied countries, in preserving global security and promoting peace. Furthermore, the Deputy King reiterated the Kingdom’s support for regional and global initiatives aimed at promoting peace and stability.
The meeting also featured discussions on regional and global developments, matters of common interest, and strategies for further enhancing Bahrain-U.S. cooperation. In attendance at the meeting were His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust, and HE Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
