If you’re planning a trip to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), there’s some great news to share. Saudi Arabia has recently broadened its visitor e-visa program to include citizens of eight more countries.
The newly eligible countries comprise Albania, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, the Maldives, South Africa, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
As a result of this expansion, individuals from these nations can now apply for a Saudi electronic visa either online or upon arrival at any of the Kingdom’s entry points.
This visa is applicable for various purposes, including tourism, business ventures, visits to family and friends, and participating in Umrah.
The Ministry of Tourism announced this extension of the Saudi visitor e-visa program on August 6, a recent development.
It’s essential to note that this visitor e-visa does not authorize individuals to engage in paid employment or perform Umrah during the Hajj season. Furthermore, the visa can only be renewed after it has expired.
The visitor e-visa is valid for an entire year, permitting multiple entries with a maximum stay of up to 90 days. To avoid any penalties, travelers must leave Saudi Arabia within the specified duration of their stay.
In addition to this exciting news, Saudi Arabia has also introduced new e-visa options in place of traditional passport stickers for citizens of 12 additional countries. Moreover, a new multi-entry personal visit visa valid for a year has been introduced.
