Situated on the fifth and final floor of Iconic, this upcoming restaurant provides breathtaking views of Raimbaldi and Jean-Médecin from its expansive terrace.
A recent site tour with Karine Journo, wife of the president of La Compagnie de Phalsbourg, highlighted her meticulous oversight of the interior design, furniture selection, and decor details for both Pesca and the luxurious Hilton 4-star “plus” hotel. With 105 chic and cozy modular rooms and suites spread over three levels, the hotel offers stunning views of Thiers, Mathis Avenue, and the Provence Railway Station.
Fusion of Elegance: Oyster Bar and Wine Lounge
Integrated seamlessly into the hotel, Pesca’s lounge area serves as the centerpiece, featuring a reception adorned in polished blue mirrors adjacent to two meeting rooms and a small gym, with future plans for the Metropolitan complex. “Pesca embodies a foreign concept utilizing locally-sourced ingredients,” explains Karine Journo. “Originating in Amsterdam, it operates as a vibrant seafood market where guests select fresh catches daily, choosing from three preparation styles while enjoying wine in cinema-style armchairs.”
Beyond the seafood market, “Pesca will feature an oyster bar and wine lounge, perfectly complementing its selection of seafood.”
Opening Soon: A Taste of Dolce Vita
Currently in its final stages of preparation, Pesca promises an ambiance reminiscent of the dolce vita lifestyle, characterized by soft, flowing designs that contrast with its angular exterior. “Expect a color palette ranging from soothing blues and greens to warm beiges,” adds Journo. With seating for approximately a hundred patrons, including a massive 8-meter communal table, high-top tables, and elevated sofas, Pesca offers an affordable price range of €30-50 per person.
Scheduled to open soon, Pesca invites guests to indulge in an immersive culinary experience, blending exceptional seafood with an atmosphere of elegance and relaxation.
