HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Meets with U.S. Senator and Congressional Delegation
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, convened a meeting today with U.S. Senator Joni Ernst and a delegation comprising members of the United States Congress at Riffa Palace.
His Royal Highness underscored the enduring relationship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, acknowledging the history of their bilateral ties and multifaceted collaboration.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister reiterated the Kingdom’s commitment to advancing bilateral relations to realize mutual aspirations.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted the pivotal role of the United States, in conjunction with its allies, in ensuring regional security and stability. He also underscored the Kingdom’s dedication to international efforts aimed at regional and global development.
His Royal Highness emphasized the significance of strengthening the partnership between Bahrain and the United States through bilateral visits and agreements, including the recently ratified Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA).
The C-SIPA agreement serves as a cornerstone for extensive cooperation between Bahrain and the United States in the realms of security, military affairs, advanced technology, trade, and investment, benefiting both nations and their citizens.
The meeting emphasized the importance of supporting endeavors to consolidate security, promote peace, development, and prosperity in the region and worldwide, for the betterment of all. Furthermore, it underscored the unwavering belief that dialogue and diplomatic solutions are essential for resolving regional and international disputes while safeguarding the rights of individuals to peace, development, and prosperity.
