Bahrain Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Leads Coordination Meeting for IISS Manama Dialogue
Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, chaired a coordination meeting for the ninth Regional Security Summit of the Manama Dialogue.
In attendance were representatives from the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) along with several relevant ministries and government bodies.
The undersecretary stressed the significance of the IISS Manama Dialogue, which is organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This platform serves as a crucial forum for shedding light on and analyzing regional and global political issues and developments.
During the meeting, he discussed the plans and preparations for the upcoming IISS Manama Dialogue, scheduled to take place from November 17 to 19.
The minister underscored Bahrain’s commitment to offering comprehensive logistical and organizational support for this annual regional security summit. He also highlighted Bahrain’s active role as a partner in promoting security, peace, and prosperity in both the region and globally, in addition to its support for sustainable development initiatives.
