Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Meets Prime Minister of Laos on the Sidelines of the Gulf-ASEAN Summit
Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, held talks with the Prime Minister of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Thongloun Sisoulith, on the sidelines of the Gulf summit with members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
The meeting, which took place during the regional conference, provided both leaders with an opportunity to discuss bilateral, regional, and international matters of mutual interest.
The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia acknowledged the friendly relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and expressed a desire to further strengthen cooperation between the two nations.
The Laotian Prime Minister, in turn, thanked the Crown Prince for his warm reception and emphasized the importance of consolidating ties between the two countries, as well as the need to enhance cooperation in various domains.
The meeting also allowed both leaders to exchange views on regional and international developments, with a particular focus on issues related to security and stability in the Gulf and ASEAN regions.
The Gulf-ASEAN summit brought together leaders from the region to discuss matters of common interest and strengthen cooperation between Gulf countries and those of ASEAN in various areas, including security, the economy, and diplomacy.
