HM King Returns to Bahrain
Today, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has returned to Bahrain after a visit to the United Arab Emirates. During his visit, he had the privilege of meeting with His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister, and Dubai Ruler.
During their discussions, HM the King and the UAE leaders delved into the enduring and robust relations between Bahrain and the UAE, exploring avenues to further strengthen ties in various sectors. They also engaged in conversations regarding the most recent developments on regional and global fronts.
Notably, HM King Hamad played a crucial role in leading Bahrain’s delegation at the Riyadh Summit, where leaders from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) met with counterparts from the Association of Southeast Asia Nations (ASEAN). This summit took place under the auspices of Saudi Arabia.
In addition to these diplomatic endeavors, HM the King also assumed the leadership of Bahrain’s delegation at the Cairo Summit for Peace. This summit was dedicated to examining the latest developments pertaining to the Palestinian cause and the future of the peace process.
Furthermore, King Hamad’s international engagements extended to visits in the United Kingdom, Italy, and the Vatican.
