HRH the Deputy King Meets with New French Ambassador to Bahrain
Manama, Oct. 24: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Deputy King of Bahrain, held a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of the French Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, HE Eric Giraud-Telme, at Gudaibiya Palace today.
During the meeting, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad emphasized the strength of the Bahrain-France relationship, which continues to flourish through collaboration across various sectors. He underlined the importance of enhancing the bilateral partnership at all levels to achieve common goals that benefit both nations.
The Deputy King extended a warm welcome to the newly appointed Ambassador and conveyed his best wishes for a successful tenure in carrying out his diplomatic duties.
The discussions during the meeting encompassed topics of mutual interest, as well as regional and global developments. HRH the Deputy King acknowledged the significant global role played by France, along with its allied nations, in ensuring regional and global safety and security. These efforts are recognized as vital to fostering economic development.
HE Eric Giraud-Telme expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness and commended his commitment to advancing bilateral relations in line with mutual aspirations.
The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, HE Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki.
