Qatar to Host Inaugural Web Summit in MENA
In a groundbreaking move, the State of Qatar is set to host the inaugural edition of Web Summit in the MENA region from February 26 to 29, 2024. As one of the world’s most prominent technology conferences, the debut of Web Summit Qatar aims to bridge the global tech community with thriving ecosystems in the Middle East, Africa, and India.
Over the coming five years, Web Summit Qatar will pave the way for a multitude of international investors and industry leaders to forge connections, engage in networking opportunities, and collectively shape a future propelled by innovation.
His Excellency Sheikh Jassim bin Mansour bin Jabor Al Thani, Director of the Government Communications Office (GCO), expressed anticipation, stating, “We eagerly await the participation of individuals in Qatar for the upcoming edition of Web Summit. It is exciting to note that numerous major companies, esteemed tech experts, and specialists have already secured their registrations.”
