Saudi Arabia is gearing up to introduce an extravagant mountain retreat situated at an impressive elevation of 3,015 meters above sea level, spanning an expansive area of 627 square kilometers. Soudah Peaks, the Kingdom’s forthcoming luxury mountain destination in Aseer, slated for opening in 2033, will offer a grand and captivating experience.
His Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs, unveiled the ambitious vision for the Soudah mountain region. This visionary project will grace the highest peak in Saudi Arabia and feature 2,700 accommodation keys, 1,336 residential units, over 30 captivating attractions, and a sprawling 80,000 square meters of commercial space.
Furthermore, this destination will be segmented into six distinct zones: Tahlal, Sahab, Sabrah, Jareen, Rijal, and Red Rock. The scope of the project extends from Soudah to a portion of Rijal Almaa, a 900-year-old village nestled approximately 50 kilometers west of Abha in Aseer.
Each of these zones will offer a diverse array of amenities, including upscale hotels, luxurious mountain resorts, charming chalets, exquisite villas, spacious mansion sites, enticing entertainment, and commercial venues. Additionally, Soudah Peaks will boast a range of outdoor attractions, encompassing sports, adventure, wellness, and cultural experiences.
Soudah Peaks will provide top-tier hospitality services to more than two million visitors annually, seamlessly blending traditional and architectural elements into its design. Soudah Development, supported by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), is dedicated to enhancing the tourism, hospitality, and entertainment sectors through Soudah Peaks, offering a lavish and immersive cultural experience within this awe-inspiring natural setting.
