BAGLIETTO SET TO SHINE IN THE UPCOMING TRADE SHOW SEASON WITH THE T52 AND DOM133 “LEE” AND ANNOUNCES A NEW BUSINESS AGREEMENT IN SINGAPORE
La Spezia, September 7, 2023 – With just one week until the opening of the 2023 trade show season, Baglietto is fully prepared. Following the announcement of the sale of the ninth unit from the DOM133 series, the shipyard in La Spezia is gearing up for its upcoming international events where it will take center stage.
At the Cannes Yachting Festival, taking place from September 12 to 17, Baglietto will proudly showcase the star of the show: the Baglietto T52. This yacht, featuring hybrid propulsion, is the largest vessel on display along the Croisette. The yacht will also be present at the Monaco Yacht Show from September 27 to 30, along with the latest DOM133 launched by the shipyard, named MY “Lee.”
“We start the season with great enthusiasm,” comments Fabio Ermetto, CCO of Baglietto. “We closed the nautical year with a sale and we are presenting our latest builds at international events, which have already enjoyed tremendous success. We have sold eight units of the T52, and we have nine DOM yachts already in operation, in addition to the T60 and other full custom projects that ensure production until 2026. The upcoming boat shows will be a perfect opportunity to showcase the excellence of our production and the shipyard’s significant commitment to a more sustainable and cutting-edge yachting industry.”
On the international stage, Baglietto also announces the opening of a new representative office in Singapore. After establishing a presence in Australia, Brazil, and the Dominican Republic, Baglietto is looking towards the East to explore new and significant markets. The new representation office will be managed by Alvin Chua of Monaco Yachts Asia, based in Singapore, who has been active in the Asian market for over 30 years.
“We have been eyeing the Asian market for some time,” continues Ermetto. “We wanted to find a partner capable of developing and promoting our brand in such a distant and different market from ours. Alvin Chua, from Monaco Yacht Asia, certainly has the experience and expertise to assist us in achieving this important goal.”
In addition to representation, Monaco Yacht Asia will also serve as a Service Point for the shipyard in this region (www.monacoyachtsasia.com).
