Foreign Minister Meets with French Ambassador to Bahrain
Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a meeting with Eric Giraud-Telme, the French Ambassador to Bahrain.
During their meeting, both parties engaged in discussions regarding the bilateral relations between Bahrain and France. They also explored various avenues for enhancing cooperation across multiple sectors.
Furthermore, they exchanged insights on recent developments pertaining to security and humanitarian concerns in the Gaza Strip. The dialogue extended to encompass regional and global endeavors aimed at de-escalation, the safeguarding of civilians, and the creation of secure pathways for the distribution of humanitarian aid to the Palestinian population in Gaza.
The two diplomats also delved into strategies for advancing peace initiatives and achieving a peaceful resolution to the Palestinian issue, including the establishment of a Palestinian state in accordance with the two-state solution and in compliance with internationally recognized resolutions.
The meeting was graced by the presence of Ambassador Ahmed Ibrahim Al Qurainees, who serves as the Chief of the European Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
