HM King Meets Jordanian Monarch

Today, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa had a meeting with His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein of Jordan. This encounter took place on the sidelines of their participation in the Cairo Peace Summit, which was hosted by Egypt to deliberate on the latest developments and the future of the Palestinian cause.

During their meeting, HM King Hamad and HM King Abdullah II emphasized the crucial need for heightened and unified Arab efforts to de-escalate the situation in the Gaza Strip. They also underscored the importance of collaborating with the international community to promptly halt the conflict, facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, lift the siege, and ensure the protection of civilians.

Both leaders issued a warning about the potentially hazardous consequences of the ongoing escalation, which could lead to a new cycle of violence.
