HM King Return Marks Fruitful Diplomatic Tour
Manama, Oct. 24 : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa concluded a productive diplomatic tour and returned to Bahrain after his recent visit to the United Arab Emirates. During his visit, he engaged in high-level meetings with regional leaders, strengthening ties and addressing global developments.
His Majesty, alongside His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister, and Dubai Ruler, delved into the well-established and robust Bahrain-UAE relations. The discussions also centered around strategies to further bolster cooperation across various sectors.
Additionally, the leaders explored the latest regional and global developments, aiming to align their policies in response to changing geopolitical circumstances.
Furthermore, HM King Hamad played a pivotal role by leading Bahrain’s delegation at the Riyadh Summit, a meeting that brought together the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the Association of Southeast Asia Nations (ASEAN), hosted by Saudi Arabia. This summit served as a platform for fostering cooperation and strengthening regional alliances.
In another significant diplomatic effort, His Majesty chaired Bahrain’s delegation at the Cairo Summit for Peace, a gathering focused on the latest developments and the future of the Palestinian cause, including the peace process. This underlines Bahrain’s commitment to contributing to regional stability and resolution of conflicts.
As part of his diplomatic itinerary, HM King Hamad visited the United Kingdom, Italy, and the Vatican, where he engaged with world leaders and dignitaries on various matters of mutual interest and importance.
His return to Bahrain signifies the King’s dedication to maintaining strong international relations, promoting peace, and contributing to global and regional stability.
